Not age, but the hours of operation. A typical boat jet ski or summer is 50 hours in the United States under the Army Corps of Engineers. So, if the boat is 10 years, but has 100 hours to see, because it is used for 2 seasons. If the boat out for a long time SA, watch!.

Remember to find the VIN, usually right behind. The last 2 digits indicate the year of manufacture. If the numbers are very old game differently. Do not buy this very old, many problems occur.

Spend $ 125 or less to have a qualified mechanic check it out. You will be able to determine the number of hours, all systems, verification and test, usually in a pool intended for them. Polaris has closed its doors and can be difficult to repair in a few years.

I bought a couple of 96 Seadoo Sportster two 85 hp 2-stroke to four months. as they have done, "said the dealer, he wanted to have it checked before I bought it. I took them to a distributor of Seadoo and went through it. Costs like $ 200 worth knowing, he was on top of the best.
